A comfortable shared living space to unwind after a day of exploring. Settle in with a book, a board game, or simply enjoy the view.

Sauna, jacuzzi, and relaxation space in a separate building. Available to all guests — the perfect way to end a day outdoors.

Outdoor Terrace

Seating overlooking the fjord and mountains. The place to watch the midnight sun or catch the northern lights with a warm drink.

Self-Catering

Each apartment has a kitchenette with fridge, stove, and basic cooking equipment. The nearest grocery shop is in Burfjord, approximately 15 minutes by car. We recommend stocking up before arrival.

Parking & Access

Free parking on site for all guests. The road to Burfjord Basecamp is accessible year-round. In winter, studded tyres or chains are recommended.

How to Get Here

Burfjord is located in Kvænangen, Troms, in the heart of northern Norway.

Finding Us

Burfjord Basecamp sits at the edge of the Kvænangenfjord, surrounded by mountains and forest. Remote enough to feel like an escape, close enough to reach comfortably.

From Tromsø: ~3 hours by car via E6 north. Scenic drive through Lyngen Alps and along the fjord.
Nearest airport: Tromsø Langnes (TOS), with connections to Oslo and other cities.
Public transport: Bus connections from Tromsø available. Check schedules in advance as frequency varies by season.
Winter driving: Check road conditions on 175.no before travelling, especially the Kvænangsfjelllet pass (E6).
